Get Our “Toys” Ready

As fellow watercraft owners, we are fully aware of the amount of extra time it takes to get our “toys” ready and into the water. Not only do we have to make sure these are all fueled up, but we have to take off the covers; haul them to the boat launch; prepare for launching and then securely moor them to docks or buoys. When we are done enjoying them, we then have to reverse this process and additionally clean up and securely store the toys until the next time. When you only have a few days available to use your watercraft, isn’t it a shame to have to spend so much time with all of these mundane tasks? Don’t you often ask yourself the question: “Do I really want to spend my valuable time doing all of this?” There are also many of us that can only leave our watercraft at the public marinas or common use buoys for a limited number of days before we have to move or remove them. This is difficult at times to conveniently schedule, given our busy lives, filled with work and family commitments. Of course, the whole time you’re also worrying if your boat is coming loose from its moorings or someone has tampered with or vandalized your prized possession?

Watercraft

At Lake Chelan HomeWatch, we are here to help you. Based upon your schedule and needs, we can get your watercraft into the water and to the location you desire. We can make sure that it is fueled up, oil checked and ready to use including stocking with snacks, ice and cold drinks. When you are done, we can retrieve your toys, clean them up and safely haul them back to your secure storage locations or home. We can manage your boat move outs/move ins at the public marinas or common use buoys so you don’t have to take time off from work. We can periodically stop by and check on your watercraft for loose moorings; unattached safety lines; loose or unsecured covers; verify that owner supplied anti-theft devices are in place; look for signs of theft/vandalism or storm damage.

Boat Serviced or Winterized

Need your boat serviced or winterized? No problem! We can get it to your preferred mechanic or one of ours while you’re away so that it will be ready when you return. We can remove your batteries at season end; hook up to your battery tender and monitor longer term battery charging status as part of our broader HomeWatch Services. At season’s end, we can make sure your watercraft are properly fueled and stabilizer added to prevent water condensation. We can then haul them to your designated storage facility until you are ready for us to bring them back out for next season’s adventures. For boats stored outside, we can monitor and remove heavy layers of snow and ice from covers to minimize damage to covers and windshields/glass.
